The Cabot Trail in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia is one The Cabot Trail in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia is one of those places that is still beautiful no matter the weather.

The rain and fog have been putting a wrench in my plans but I’m happy that I still explored a little bit and found these insanely gorgeous waterfalls. Known as the Beulach Ban Falls they are located about a 2km drive off of the main road near the Big Intervale campground. From the parking lot you can kind of see the falls through the trees. After a quick walk they are right there in all of their stunning glory. Of course the fact that it was raining made them even more beautiful.

So glad I got to see them today! What are your favourite waterfalls in Nova Scotia? ❤️

Is this not the most quintessential accommodation Is this not the most quintessential accommodation in Nova Scotia? A lighthouse AirBnB!

Located in Five Islands, Nova Scotia by the Minas Basin in the Bay of Fundy this is a beautiful new property. They are already fully booked for July and August but there are still spots available for June and September and the rest of the year as it’s open year round!

There is a bbq, fire pit, wifi, gear for clam digging nearby and of course a hot tub with stunning views. During EXTREME tides the ocean even comes right up to the lighthouse.

Such a fun place to stay and located in a gorgeous part of Nova Scotia! ❤️

It’s Cherry Blossom season in Nova Scotia! We bl It’s Cherry Blossom season in Nova Scotia! We bloom pretty late compared to other places and we don’t have many either!

A great place to see them in the city however is on Park Ave in Dartmouth along the Dartmouth Commons. They probably won’t be there for much longer so go go see them now while you still can.

Or head to the Annapolis Valley to see all of the gorgeous Apple Blossoms! This weekend was the first time they have been able to celebrate the Apple Blossom Festival in over two years!

Where is your favourite place to see things in bloom this time of year?

The longest white sand beach in Nova Scotia is Mar The longest white sand beach in Nova Scotia is Martinique Beach. This 5km crescent shaped beach is also one of the best places to go surfing in Nova Scotia.

You can surf at Martinique Beach year round and there are local companies that offer gear and board rentals as well as surfing lessons.

Although gorgeous the water there can be quite chilly however. If you plan on swimming swim within the lifeguard zone and be wary of leg cramps!
